Hibiscus Flowers

Hibiscus Flowers add a tart, slightly sour, cranberry taste to herbal teas and blends producing a vibrant pinky/red color. Hibiscus flowers are used around the globe in festivals and foods. Chef Ahmed uses them for Jambo Café’s Hibiscus Cooler. Additionally found in Agua de Jamaica, jam, jelly, ice cream, tarts, chocolate, puddings, and cakes. Hibiscus also complements savory foods such as butter, sauces, pickles, chutneys, and marmalades.
